Is it time to replace your old water heater or install a new one? The experts at First Geothermal Energy are here to help you get you back in business with a state of the art high efficiency water heater.

Common signs indicating water heater trouble include sulfurous- or metallic-tasting water, low volume of hot water, rusty colored water, a lack of hot water, unusual sounds coming from the unit, and water leaks.

Tank Water Heaters

Tank Water heaters provide a large volume of dependable, low cost hot water. You can use propane, natural gas, or electricity to power your water heater. This is the most common way to heat water in the United States.

Residential tank water heaters typically store between 20 and 80 gallons of hot water throughout, usually at the factory setting of 120°F. The temperature can be adjusted up or down by a control on the unit. Tank water heaters are typically located in the garage, basement or attic.

Tankless Water Heaters

Tankless water heaters provide the comfort and convenience of having a continuous supply of hot water that will never run out. Gas tankless water heater models are great as a hot water solution for homes with busy families, homes with luxury bathrooms and vacation homes.

Hot Water Heater Efficiency

Water Heaters typically have a lifespan of 10-15 years, and when they fail, it can leave you with a mess. Periodic maintenance can extend the life of a water heater and keep it operating efficiently.

When replacing a water heater it can pay to lookup local rebates for high-efficiency models.

About First Geothermal Energy

Experience matters!! Perhaps the most important aspect of deciding upon a geothermal system installation is selecting a Geothermal installer. First Geothermal Energy is owned and operated by Mike Roberts. Mike has over twenty five years experience in the HVAC industry. Approximately fifteen Years ago he decided the future was geothermal, he has dedicated his geothermal career to the design and installation of a proper geothermal heat pump system for his customers. This starts with a complete evaluation of the current or future home or building. This includes measurements of the home;level of insulation; window and door sizes and grade; home exposure direction ect. All of this is done to determine the structures heat loss and heat gain. Once this is accurately calculated, a properly sized system, including the tonnage required and the size and design of the loop system is created.

Mike is a factory trained technician in geothermal design and installation, using the latest software and analytical data.
